How the Concierge Service Works (Step-by-Step)
Need a plumber, photographer, or car detailer? The EzPz Concierge is our secure booking system designed to protect you from bad workmanship and no-shows.
Think of EzPz as a trusted middleman. We hold your payment securely until the job is done right.
Here is the exact step-by-step process:
1. Tell Us What You Need
Click Request Service and describe your problem clearly. Tip: Upload photos of the issue (like a leaking pipe) so our professionals know exactly what tools to bring!
2. Review Phase
Our system finds the best verified professionals (we call them "Vendors") in your area and sends them your request.
3. Getting Quotes
Vendors will reply to your request with a price quote. You can compare their prices, read their past reviews from other users, and chat with them in the app if you have questions.
4. Accepting the Job & Paying Securely
Once you pick a vendor you like, you will be asked to pay using your credit card. Important: We do NOT send this money to the vendor yet! We lock your money in a secure EzPz vault. This gives the vendor peace of mind that you actually have the money, but protects you because they don't get paid until they finish the job.
5. The Job Day
The vendor will come to your location on the agreed date. They are required to take "Before" photos when they arrive.
6. The Job is Finished (The 7-Day Wait)
Once the vendor finishes, they take "After" photos and mark the job as "Completed" in their app. You now have exactly 7 days to check the work.
- If you are happy with the work: You don't need to do anything! After 7 days, we will automatically release the money from the vault to the vendor.
- If you are unhappy with the work: You must click "Open Dispute" in the app before the 7 days are up. This freezes the money immediately so we can investigate. (See our Disputes Guide for more info).
7. Leave a Review
Once the job is fully complete and paid, please leave an honest star rating for the vendor! This helps other users know who the best workers are.
