How Payments & Guarantees Work
Paying for services shouldn't be stressful. We've built EzPz to protect your hard-earned money and make sure you get exactly the quality you pay for. Here's a quick guide to how our payments and guarantees work.
100% Secure Upfront EzPz Vault
When you accept a quote on EzPz, your payment doesn't go straight to the vendor's unverified bank account. Instead, it goes into our Secure EzPz Vault System.
- You Pay Upfront: You confirm the booking using FPX (Online Banking), Credit Card, or your loaded EzPz Credits.
- We Hold It: The funds sit securely in the EzPz vault. The vendor sees that the money is guaranteed, so they show up motivated and ready to work.
- You Are in Control: The vendor does not get paid until the job is done. Once they finish, you inspect the work and click "Confirm Completion" in your app to release the funds.
Forgot to hit confirm? No worries. If there are no issues reported, the system will automatically release the funds to the vendor 7 days after they finish.
The EzPz Guarantee: Dispute Mediation
Sometimes things don't go according to plan—a leak isn't fully fixed, or the wrong paint color was used. We've got your back.
If there is an issue, you can immediately Raise a Dispute from the app.
- EzPz Vault Locks Instantly: The funds are frozen. The 7-day auto-release timer stops.
- Admin Review: Our team steps in, reviews the photos and chat history between you and the vendor.
- Fair Resolution: If the vendor is at fault, we will refund your wallet or enforce a partial payment. If the vendor did exactly what was asked, we ensure they get paid fairly.
EzPz Credits & Promotions
Want to save? You can buy or earn EzPz Credits! 1 Credit = RM 1.
You can use credits to pay for any service on the platform. Keep an eye out for our bulk credit promotions (like "Buy RM 100, get RM 120 in Credits!") to save big on your next home renovation or car service.
